the story~

~There is a train barreling out of control down a long straight away far in the belly of central America. Behind the wheel of the train is a crazed mad man who has taken a classic 80’s movie to literal and out fitted the train with a highly experimental contraption that contains many volatile elements and chemicals. Gaining speed the passengers begin to panic in the back cars.
“When this baby hits 88 miles per hour you’re going to see some serious shit!”
The crazed man screams as he slams the throttle lever down as far as it will go. The train screams down the straight away gaining speed. 80, 81, 82, the train engine roars madly, 85, 86, 87, the need climes higher and higher and the gages all around the cab begin to spin madly. When the train hits exactly 88 miles per hour the device rigged to the engine bursts to life and causes a chemical reaction and explodes. The train is engulfed in the blaze but no one is hurt. The train emerges from the blinding blaze one car after another gliding thru the air. The wheels crash and slice through raw earth and stone. The train tares through the earth, its immense weight carving deep fissures in the loose soil. It spins sideways and topples over onto its side. The train cars begin to twist and snap free of their connectors. The train slides on its side for a while but feels like an eternity to the surviving passengers. Trees and plants are crushed beneath the train as it slides over them with incredible force until the train collides with a tree so immense that it is stopped instantly and the remaining connected cars wrap around the base of the enormous tree. The passengers who have the misfortune of still being alive after the ordeal have no idea where they are as they immerge from the wreckage. A vast, forest densely overgrown with flora that resembles massive ferns surrounds them. Nothing like the open planes they saw before the explosion. Agitated tweets and chirping could be heard in the distance, agitated fauna who where both intrigued and pissed at their unwelcome guest.
A car door swings open and clumps of fluffy white cotton and down fall out. A man emerges from the train car unscathed. He is dazed from being tossed about in the cushiony car that conveniently was filled with boxes of pillows. His train car had been separated in the vicious tumble and was a good mile away from the rest of the train and far from any other survivors. He turned to look at the wreckage. “It could be worse” he said. As fortunate as he was to emerge unharmed his luck would soon run out. The agitated chirping that surrounded him all too suddenly stopped. The forest fell silent. Still dazed he paid no mind to the sudden change. The ferns behind him began to move side to side, something was in them moving stealthily within them creeping closer and closer. It kept low to the grown. His wits coming back to him he sensed something was wrong. He swung around quickly to see and was abruptly met with clawed foot with a 6 inch claw that tore its way thru his face slicing the skin cleanly as it came down just missing his eye. But where the first large claw met two smaller but equally devastating claws raked at the skin of his face in a parallel pattern. He had been attacked by Deinonychus, a small early cretaceous carnivore an early cousin of the Velociraptor. Its deadly clawed foot left 3 deep gashes on his face, each gash barely missing his eyes. The deepest gash was left by the signature sickle claw of the raptors. The cut was so clean that it barely bled until a few seconds after it was already done. His eye that narrowly escaped being all but removed from his skull was now swelling shut. He grasped at his face only catching a glimpse of the raptor bobbing its head and hissing at him. He swung madly at it in terror, the raptor jumped away and retreated. The man fell to his knees and screamed in agonizing pain. His face was searing hot and felt like it was burning. Soon the raptor returned, moving cautiously toward him. Then another emerged from the ferns, then another, and another. They all chirped at him like birds, their heads bobbing up and down inquisitively, watching him as he bled into his hands. With his good eye he counted 5 in total. They surrounded him each one staring him down and chirping at him. He thought to himself, if he could just make it to the train car and slam the door shut before they can get him he would be safe in there. Without hesitation he sprung to his feet so quickly that even the raptors were surprised at his agility and he raced for the train car. The lead raptor screamed loudly and threw its clawed hands up and pursued him. The others followed after. His free hand grasped the car door and he swung himself into the train car. The raptor had already caught up to him and latched it jaws around his arm. He punched the raptor vigorously on the snout then jabbed it in the eye with his thumb. It hissed and squealed and let go dodging back swatting at its eye with its clawed hand.
”an eye for an eye bitch!”
He grabbed the door handle on the inside and slammed the great steel door shut. It boomed loudly inside and he heard the lock latch. He could hear the raptors hissing and clawing at the metal, their sharp claws raking away at the hard steel. Eventually they gave up and left. The hissing and loud chirping ceased. He was safe. With the material from the pillow cases he fashioned himself a bandage for his face in attempt to stop the bleeding. He pulled a bottle of whisky out from his coat that was buried under the pillows. He poured it onto the cloth and wrapped it tightly around his face. His face burned to the touch and a searing pain shot through his body every time he winced. He may have escaped from the raptors with his life, but for how long? He sits up against the train car wall; it was cold and felt good. The pain pressed on but he felt tranquil now, an effect from losing so much blood. He drank the rest of the bottle of the strong whisky and passed out moments later.
The survivors of the wreckage gathered together and were 19 in total. The ones who were able followed the path of disturbed dirt and crushed foliage to the separated car in hopes to find medical supplies. The medical car was separated from the rest of the train as well but was a bit further ahead. When they arrived the raptors were nowhere to be seen. The chirping of birds and other animals had resumed. The car looked as though someone had taken a grinder to the door; it was gouged and slashed but still held strong. They opened the door to the car containing the pillows and the bleeding man. Bright light shinned in and irritated the man’s good eye and he awoke. The lead survivor was calling out. “Hello! Is anyone in here! Hello!”
The others were outside searching the perimeter for some sort of markings on the train revealing its purpose and contents. They called out in hopes of finding more survivors as well. The Bleeding Man sat up and staggered to his feet. His bandage was crimson with blood but was doing its job nicely. The lead survivor was now leaving the car and had not noticed the man getting up from the thrashed pillows. The lead called out to the rest.
“There’s nothing here“, the man pushed him aside and staggered into the door way. The lead looked at him in both astonishment and terror.
The man stared out with his good eye at the noisy people, his head was throbbing but his face was now numb. ‘They make so much noise’ he thought to himself. No more noise, he said to himself. He wanted them to stop. His head was pounding with every word they said and every noise they made.
“Quiet… all of you!” he leaned up against the door way. The bottle fell from his hand and sank into the fluffy mixed cotton and down that surrounded him.
“I’m drunk…”

Ok so… sorry that was hell-a-long. Long story short, a train was sucked back in time to the early cretaceous period due to an experiment preformed by a mad man. The train crashed and a few cars were sending flying. A man in one car that was filled with pillows got out un hurt but was attacked by a pack of raptors. One clawed his face and bit his are as he tried to run. He managed to lock himself in the train car and was safe… For the time being.
